Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy

Strengthening your pelvic floor muscle during pregnancy can reduce the risk of injury during vaginal birth and can also lead to quicker recovery postpartum. However, pelvic floor training is only effective when performed correctly. To ensure that you are activating your pelvic floor muscles correctly, it is important to seek the advice of a trained Pelvic Floor Specialist. Incorrect pelvic floor training is not only ineffective, but can also cause more problems.

Whether you are looking to proactively strengthen your pelvic floor muscles during pregnancy, or address pregnancy-related pelvic floor issues, we are here to help.

At Pelvic Fit Melbourne, we are able to offer treatment for the following;

  • Pelvic floor Assessment

  • Bladder or bowel incontinence
